One other element meant to make the gameplay in StarMade even more addictive and engaging is the stealth technology that will enable players to use their spaceship's radar jamming capabilities as well as various styles of cloaking modules for a quick and surprising attack on their unsuspecting enemies. Moreover, StarMade also features a fully integrated modern physics engine designed to simulate reality-like box-on-box collisions, that make the surrounding world even more enthralling.
STARMADE CANNON UPGRADE
If you don't have enough credits to upgrade your ship, StarMade allows you to salvage your enemies' ships in order to gain a limited amount money to make it easier for you on the long run. In StarMade, you will be able to design and build your own space ship or space station, as complex as your amount of funds allow you to. StarMade comes bundled with a vast arsenal of destructive weapons such as lasers, explosive shells that will automatically blow up on impact and all sorts of missiles designed to act like normal projectiles, heat seeking ones and target hunters. Allows you to build custom ships using scrap materials from enemies and provides you with a wide array of space ships and weapons So in short, cannons do work with conjuntion with salvage.StarMade is a 3D sandbox-like and Minecraft inspired space shooter game in which you have to destroy all your enemies in multiplayer mode and explore the surrounding space around you.īesides having to destroy all your enemies in order to win, in StarMade you will also have the option to just infiltrate their ships. They now act with no cooldown as Durendal5150 stated. Upon further testing, I was being derpy, and realized that when I linked both the salvage and cannon systems together, they wern't linking my cannons I was placing. I think cannons used to be able to reduce the cooldown, or keep the beam operational as long as the cooldown, so it could "endlessly" keep shooting it's beam, but I don't think we're able to achieve this anymore. My salvage beams go until the cooldown on them are about halfway, then they stop, just as they do without the cannons linked to them.Įnergy isn't an issue in this case, since I've made it so that I produce soo much energy soo fast, my beams never drain the energy at a noticeable amount. It's at 100% (equal parts salvage and cannon), and the cooldown is still the same (if not, it's not noticeable). I've made a salvage ship that's combined with cannons. (not sure if it needs to be 100% or not, havn't payed quite that much attention.) Usually use cannons with them, they do reduce the cooldown, but to completely remove it the percentage has to be really damned high.
